IMPACT

There is no greater joy than to know that you were used by God in a way that had an eternal impact. That's what volunteering is all about; it's an opportunity to use the gifts and talents that you have been given. Every volunteer has a hand in the life transformation process from the smiling greeter, the person holding the baby to the people who set-up and tear-down the sanctuary. It's a powerful team that God has assembled. Go ahead and jump in and become a part of what God is doing, it's a decision you'll never regret.

We believe that the best way to discover your spiritual gift and learn how God has wired you for service is to take an area of service for a test drive by getting involved. Below are some ideas for how you can begin getting involved.

Adventure
planning missions trip, camping,  hunting, canoe/kayak outings 

Baking/Cooking
preparing food for special events and Wednesday night meals, provide treats after service

Café
barista, scheduling, maintaining inventory

Communication/Teaching
presenting announcements at service, lead a small group Bible study

Creative Arts
dance, drama, graphic design, musician, singing, photography, videography, website, writing

Helping
setup and teardown for services, lawn care, cleaning, ushering

Hospitality
greeting people, welcome center (Red Wall), contacting new visitors, hosting a small group Bible study  

Kids
nursery care, pioneer club volunteer, Sunday school volunteer

Organization
help organize events, recruit volunteers, give phone call reminders to volunteers, schedule nursery workers

Sports
planning golf outings, ski trips, lake days, bowling league

Technology
lighting, powerpoint, sound/audio, video editing

Workmanship
assisting people in the community through the Serve ministry, help maintain the church property, build the stage set for VBS or dramas
